Wait, is it actually Summer now?

According the calender Summer doesn’t start until June 21st, but it feels so much like we skipped Spring and went straight to Summer.

Scarves, Hats, and Winter coats and now in storage or at the back of the wardrobe. I’m having to accept that Jumpers probably need to join them, though I feel the minute I pack them away we will probably be hit with a cold spell.

I’m excited for all the spring clothes that can get integrated back into the wardrobe. I love the season change, partially because it means rediscovering a part of your wardrobe that was packed away over six months ago.
Those dresses that have been hidden in a suitcase under the bed, and the culottes shorts which are prefect on a hot summer day. Those thin boyfriend style cardigans everyone has from New Look, and the maxi dresses that will need a denim jacket to prevent hypothermia until Summer actually arrives.

Mac style coats.

That light layer, that is completely timeless and smartens up even the most basic jeans and tee shirt.

Mac are to my Spring/Summer, what Berets are to my Autumn/Winter.

Eternally grateful to friends like Sally who are actually happy to take photos of me.

#PlymouthBloggerMeet Fun in the Sun at Mount Edgecumbe.

A little bit of a throw back for you today. A few weekends ago it was the #PlymouthBloggerMeet, arranged by the delightful Ellie (littleelliemae.co.uk). The event was held at The Orangery at Mount Edgecumbe on a beautiful May Saturday. Emily and I arrived a little early and decided to take some pictures in the gorgeous surroundings of Mount Edgecumbe. And here’s the fun we had.

In case you were wondering about my outfit:
